- Boil the stockfish, seasoning, iru and onions for 15 minutes

- Add blended Okro and stir well
- As the above is allow to boil in Palm oil stir fry the ogbono powder for 1-2 min. This brings out the aroma and flavor of ogbono more,then add it up to the above Okro soup to thicken the soup as required and stir well to blend. Let it boil for a while 4- 5 min
- Make sure you wash the bitter leaf well to remove the excess bitterness, then sprinkle and allow for 2 min
- The palm oil and smoked fish come last and allow for 2 min and then done. You can decide to use meat or fish of choice or both.
- Serve with tuwo, semo, eba etc.
